Reception at Leticia Airport and transfer to the pier to take a shared boat to the Calanoa nature reserve. After about 1 hour and 40 minutes of boat trip, arrival to the reservation and accomodation. Then visit the Reserve gardens and explain the conservation project. At night walk in the primary forest guided by experts who know the rainforest for generations, there you can enjoy the sounds of insects, songs of frogs, owls and nocturnal monkeys, plants that bloom in the night and fluorescent fungi. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast at the reserve, In the morning, visit to the Tikuna indigenous community. There they will be able to see how they live and do all their life around the water, in permanent interaction with the jungle. Depending on the season, you can visit the El Vergel, San Martín or Palmeras communities. In the afternoon, after lunch, crossing the forests of the reserve and knowing the use of plants, and open to the surprises of the day. When arriving at the Matamata creek, in limit with the Amacayacu Natural Park, a canoe picks them up to return to rowing to Calanoa (if the water level allows it). In the high water season you will be able to navigate within the flooded forest. Return, dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast at the reserve. In the morning, hike on the island of Mocagua, considered part of the Amacayacu National Park, with unique species of flora and fauna, where you will see lakes with the beautiful Victoria Amazonia, the largest lotus in the world. In high waters the route is made by canoe. In the afternoon, departure by boat to the Peruvian margin in search of pink dolphins and to enjoy the sunset from the Amazon, always different and with all the colors of the universe. Return to hotel, dinner and accommodation.
